Tuesday Science Lesson: The Laboratorium Mask

The laboratory mask was invented prior to World War I to prevent science workers in laboratories from developing inappropriate and intimate relationships with each other. In the early 60s, scientists developed more advanced laboratory masks that would also cover lower extremities on the body. Today, many scientists do not use laboratory masks because scientists sneeze a lot and that corrodes the materials inside the laboratory mask.

I hit a wall about a half a week ago when my rock and roll became lodged between my two extremes. Heavy metal and love songs oh-so-sweet became confused, so confused. I asked my boy down at the studio and he got annoyed and said, “Why can’t you keep them together?” Now that’s a point but it’s always much easier said than done.
